About Gregory Payette

Gregory Payette writes character-driven crime fiction rooted in place and consequence—from the Florida coast to the back streets of 1970s Boston. His stories center on flawed characters, hard choices, and the quiet damage those choices leave behind.

He’s the author of more than twenty-three novels across multiple series, including Henry Walsh, Jake Horn, U.S. Marshal Charlie Harlow, and Joe Sheldon. A working artist, Payette often paints the covers for his own books.

Born outside Providence, Rhode Island, he now lives in North Carolina.
